The University of Florida Center for Latin American Studies (LAS) is establishing the Outstanding Young Alumni Award and the Lifetime Achievement Alumni Award. Each award aims to recognize Center alumni whose achievements positively reflect the goals, principles, and philosophy of LAS.
Recipients are selected annually by the LAS Alumni Board and honored during the LAS Fall Reception each year, commencing with the reception scheduled for September 29, 2017, in Gainesville, Florida. Deadline to submit a nomination is August 15, 2017.
