B.A in history and philosophy at the University of Florida, minor in Latin American Studies
I’m interested in researching the historical impacts of laws on women and marginalized racial groups throughout Latin American history. In my undergraduate career, I wrote a seminar paper discussing how laws surrounding citizenship limited the political agency of women and men of color in Independence-era Colombia. I hope to continue to conduct research on these topics especially within the context of contemporary Latin America.
