I earned a B.A. in International Studies with a focus on Latin America and a minor in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, which has guided my work across self-directed scholarship, education, and social engagement. I have also pursued independent analysis of political developments in Latin America, including comparative analyses of democratic governance using indices such as the Polity Index and Freedom House scores. Beyond this, I have written and vlogged on political and social issues, honing skills in communication and digital media.
In addition to my scholarly work, I have worked as an Intervention Specialist at River Valley Behavioral Health, where I developed expertise in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention for adults. These experiences, combined with leadership and advocacy roles in campus organizations and community initiatives, have cultivated a skill set that integrates analysis, communication, and applied social engagement.
