My academic interests include equitable access to healthcare, languages, education and human rights.
I studied at Santa Fe College and obtained my AA in Exercise Science. Afterwards I transferred to UF and choose to study health education to reach my goal of reducing health disparities and learning more about how to improve quality of life through preventive Healthcare. I am fluent in Portuguese and intermediate in Spanish. With speaking three languages I have been able to actively volunteer for various organizations, providing resources to our beautiful city.
