Veronica Rodriguez Luna
President of the Latin America COIL Network 

Veronica Rodriguez Luna holds a PhD in Education, an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a BA in English Language. She is part of the Blended Learning Committee at the Universidad Veracruzana (UV) in Mexico and has participated in the design of three Blended Learning courses for the UV. She belongs to the research group Autonomy in Learning and has published several articles, book chapters, and has co-authored two books about the use of technology to enhance learning. She is a Full Time Professor and the Coordinator of the Advisory Program at the Language Center in Xalapa, UV. She is also in charge of the programs Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and Virtual International Collaborations (VIC) at the UV. She is the President and one of the founders of the Latin American COIL Network. Learn more about her research here.

Ana Cristina Salomão
Coordinator of the Brazilian Virtual Exchange Program (BRaVE/UNESP) 

Ana Cristina Salomão is currently Assistant Provost for International Affairs of São Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil. She is professor at the Department of Modern Languages and an accredited lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Linguistics. supervising research at Masters and PhD levels. Her research interests are telecollaboration, virtual exchange and intercultural communication. She has been involved with telecollaboration in Brazilian higher education since 2006 through the Teletandem Brazil Project. She has published numerous journal articles and book chapters on virtual exchange, including several in collaboration with researchers in the United States, France, Spain and Taiwan. Since 2018, Dr. Salomão has served as the Coordinator of the Brazilian Virtual Exchange Program - BRaVE / UNESP. through which she guides and supports faculty across UNESP's 24 campuses who are engaging in virtual exchange. She is also one of the two organizers of a book on the development of the BRaVE program. Learn more about her research here.
