Dr. Martínez Novo will collaborate with scholars in Fortaleza, Brazil

Center faculty Carmen Martínez Novo has been named a Fulbright Specialist for the 2024-2027 period.
Administered by the U.S. Department of State, the Fulbright Specialist Program offers U.S. academics and professionals the opportunity to conduct project-based exchanges at host institutions around the globe. The goals for each exchange are to accomplish host institution goals, share knowledge and skills, strengthen institutional linkages, gain international experience, and build host institution capacity.
Dr. Martínez Novo will be collaborating with a network of scholars working on Latin American Elites at the Universidade Federal do Ceará in Fortaleza, Brazil.
