Dr. Carmen Martinez Novo recently published “Undoing Multiculturalism: Resource Extraction and Indigenous Rights in Ecuador.” Using two decades of ethnographic research, “Undoing Multiculturalism” examines the administration of President Rafael Correa (2007-2017) and why its promises to advance Indigenous and Afro-descendant rights never came to reality.
