My academic interests focus on the analysis of territorial inequalities and the socio-spatial dynamics that shape cities, particularly socio-spatial segregation, gentrification, urban renewal, and the displacement of vulnerable populations. I am interested in how transformations of urban space result from power relations, public policies, and economic dynamics that produce differentiated access to housing, services, and urban opportunities.
From an interdisciplinary perspective, I seek to integrate spatial analysis tools and geographic information systems (GIS) with social and territorial approaches to examine the impacts of these processes on historically marginalized communities and contribute to strategies for greater spatial justice and territorial equity.
