Biography

Although I am originally from Deerfield Beach, Florida for the last three years I have called Gainesville my home. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors in the following areas: Political Science, International Studies: Latin America and the Caribbean, and Japanese. a graduate of the University of Florida. While my academic journey has been far from orthodox my ultimate goal has been towards better understanding the world around us. I chose MALAS because I feel that Latin America is ever at the center of a growingly contentious geopolitical landscape. Moreover I am especially interested in how this manifests in contemporary literature.
