Background

Jocelyn lived and worked in Central America as a field assistant on a sea turtle research project and as an animal tracker for a wildlife documentary in Santa Rosa National Park, Costa Rica; she was a science teacher in various bilingual schools in Tegucigalpa and the Bay Islands of Honduras; and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Río Plátano Biosphere Reserve, Honduras. In the US, she worked as the Program Manager for the Wildlife Conservation Society’s Mesoamerican & Caribbean Program and recently served as the Director of Outreach and Development for Peaceful Paths Domestic Abuse Network. Jocelyn holds a BA in Philosophy with a minor in Biology from Rutgers University and an MS in Geography from the University of Florida.
