At the age of 17, Lisa lived in Spain for almost a year. During that time, she learned Spanish and became increasingly interested in the culture and history of Spain and Latin America in particular. Later, Lisa had the chance to do an internship in Ecuador and also spent a semester at the UNAM in Mexico City. More recently, Lisa worked at an organization whose aim is to strengthen the relations between the European Unions and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
