The virtual guest visit program is a free initiative which brings an international expert into your classroom to answer student questions on matters concerning Latin America, its culture, and its people.

Tips on finding a virtual guest speaker:

  • Share with us the topics you're interested in and we'll work with you to find a speaker who fits your classroom's needs.
  • Past interdisciplinary topics have included religion, regional food culture, Latino identity, U.S.-Mexico border issues and free trade in the coffee market.
  • A virtual guest can supplement our traveling suitcases: Want to discuss healthy eating or eating habits around the world? Ask for a speaker on Mexican food culture and check out our Latin American Food Suitcase!
