"Brazilian Guitar: Traditions and Tendencies” at Carnegie Hall

This project was presented and co-sponsored by the Consulate General of Brazil in New York and consisted of a solo guitar recital featuring traditional Brazilian repertoire and premiers of pieces by Brazilian composers Raimundo Penaforte and Ricardo Calderoni. João Kouyoumdjian will also receive guest artists Paulo Martelli (guitar), Kathryn Farenish (flute), Marta Kukularova (soprano), and UF’s Welson Tremura (guitar).
