Marianne Schmink, Professor Emerita and Distinguished Teaching Scholar of Latin American Studies and Anthropology at the University of Florida and Jonathan Dain, a University of Florida (UF) Lecturer are well versed in crafting opportunities for experiential learning. It is, after all, at the core of what they do.
Experiential learning is learning that supports students in applying their knowledge and conceptual understanding to real-world problems or authentic situations while being guided and directed by their instructor.
Join us for an informative session and panel discussion as we explore methods and opportunities to develop experiential learning activities in your courses both in and out of the classroom.
