Event Start Date: March 13, 2017 6:30 PM
Event End Date: March 13, 2017 7:45 PM
Come to the Museum’s Science Café Event for engaging conversations in a comfortable atmosphere.
The Yamasee Indians of the southeast United States were buffeted by alternating hostile and friendly relations with the Spanish, English and other Native American groups. Archaeological and historical evidence demonstrates how continuing pressures on the Yamasee fostered a migratory lifestyle that traversed Georgia, South Carolina, Florida and ultimately Cuba.
