Dr. Paul Ortiz, faculty of the History department and affiliate faculty of the Center for Latin American Studies, published the book An African American and Latinx History of the United States.
Told from the viewpoint of African American and Latinx activists, Dr. Ortiz shows how American history is transformed by placing African American, Latinx, and Indigenous voices front and center.
