Latin America-Related Internships Available through UF Alumni
Sears offers 12-week rotation based, paid internships which provide students with hands-on experience learning retail sales, customer service, and merchandise-related skills at Sears locations nationwide. Candidates must be of a junior status (summer before graduation). All majors are considered.
Southern Legal Counsel offers internship, externship, and clerking opportunities with their non-profit public interest law firm. Candidates include law students, paralegal and/or legal assistant students, and undergraduates with an interest in law. Law students may also inquire with the Center for Governmental Responsibility at the University of Florida Levin College of Law or with the Florida Bar Foundation about clerkships they sponsor at SLC.
The U.S. Export Assistance Center in Tampa seeks interns at specified times throughout the year. This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into international market research and exporting. The internship is generally 5–6 months long, with the student responsible for working 16–20 hours per week.
