Information for current MALAS Students
The MALAS Degree
The MALAS degree is granted after successfully meeting the program’s curriculum requirements and completing a research-based thesis. Students also fulfill a foreign language proficiency provision. To make sure that all of these requirements are met, students design an individualized, interdisciplinary Plan of Study at the start of the program. The MALAS Graduate Coordinator, the thesis advisor, supervisory committee members, and the Specialization Coordinator provide advising throughout the program.
