The Latin American Library Collection

A main strength of Latin American Studies at UF is its Latin American Library Collection, the sixth largest in the US, and the largest collection internationally on the Caribbean.  With over 400,000 volumes and 1,100 serial titles, it covers all disciplines and geographical areas of Latin America, with particular emphasis on the Caribbean and Brazil.

The Center offers Library Travel Grants to enable faculty researchers from other U.S. colleges and universities to use the extensive resources of the UF Latin American Collection.  These awards are funded by the Center’s Title VI National Resource Center grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
