TCD CERTIFICATE and CONCENTRATION

Eligibility

The TCD certificate and concentration are open to Master's and Ph.D. students enrolled in TCD's affiliate departments

After they are enrolled at UF, students in affiliated academic units can enroll in the TCD certificate or concentration program by meeting with TCD's Academic Advisor, Marianne Schmink (fall 2009) or Emilio Bruna (spring 2010).

Students applying for the TCD Interdisciplinary Concentration must complete the course requirements for the TCD Certificate. They also must focus on tropical conservation and development in their thesis, dissertation, or final project (in the case of non-thesis degree programs).  For the Interdisciplinary Concentration, one member of the student’s supervisory committee must be a TCD affiliate faculty member.
