Background
Covert has traveled, worked and studied throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. She previously worked in the field of international education administering study abroad programs in Latin America. Covert has a M.A. in Latin American Studies with a concentration in anthropology from the University of Florida and a B.A. in Spanish from Middlebury College.
