LA Business Environment

The Latin American Business Environment (LABE) program sponsors undergraduate and graduate courses that provide students with the interdisciplinary skills to analyze the domestic and international factors that influence the business and investment climate in Latin America. The program also serves the general public and business community through speaking engagements and publications. The Director of LABE, Terry McCoy, is a political scientist and distinguished Latin Americanist with extensive knowledge of the business and investment conditions in Latin America.  Mary Risner, the Associate Director, specializes in business language and the role of culture in the international business environment.   LABE works closely with  the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) at UF's Warrington College of Business Administration.
