About Latin American Business Environment (LABE)
The Latin American Business Environment (LABE) program monitors the economic, social and political events that affect business in Latin America. The program is partly supported by the Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) funded by a Federal grant to UF's Warrington College of Business Administration. The Director of the LABEP and the Associate Director of the CIBER is Dr. Terry McCoy, a political scientist and distinguished Latin Americanist with extensive knowledge of the business and investment conditions in Latin America. Mary Risner is the Assistant Director.
Customized Research and Non-Degree Training
The LABEP works with private companies and public agencies to design and
deliver targeted research and training on special issues or on individual
countries in Latin America.
Consulting
The program director and LABEP associates are available for special consultation on issues that affect business and investments in Latin America.
