• LAS 6220 Issues and Perspectives (3 credits)*
• LAS 6293 Research Design and Methods (3 credits)*
Spring Semester, 4th Undergraduate (or Senior) Year
• 6 credits of courses approved for MA in Latin American Studies. Normally this means graduate level (5000-6000) courses with at least 25% Latin American content. *
Summer between Year 4 and 5
• 3 credits of LAS 6905 (Individual Study or Internship)
• Conduct research for thesis
Fall Semester, 5th Year
• 9 credits of courses approved for MA in Latin American Studies
Spring Semester, 5th Year
• 9 credits of courses approved for MA in Latin American Studies
(including 3 credits of LAS 6971, MA Thesis Research)
*Double counts toward BA/BS and MA degrees
