Funding
The Center receives extramural funding from several federal programs and private foundations. Current grants are funded by the US Department of Education Title VI Program, the National Science Foundation, the Tinker Foundation, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, the World Bank, and the Florida Humanities Council.
Student Financial Assistance
The Center offers several scholarships, assistantships, and fellowships for academic year study at UF. A field research grant competition, summer foreign language fellowships, and internship opportunities are also supported. Most of the Center’s financial assistance is for graduate students.
